Coronado High School Strategic “Cutting” SessionPosted by: Jennifer Landry 3 years, 8 months ago
Coronado High School hosted a Strategic “Cutting” Session in the CUSD District Office Board Room on January 16th. This Strategic "Cutting" Session informed the CHS school community on current budget conditions and allowed the community to discuss the program and services they prioritize most.
The session was attended by school site staff, school and district administrators, parents, and community members. After a presentation of budget issues facing the Coronado Unified School District, participants discussed in table teams their reactions, concerns, and priorities for CHS programs. Coronado School of the Arts and Palm Academy for Learning were also discussed.
This Coronado High School Focus Strategic "Cutting" Session is one of four such school meetings that were held in January. Each Strategic "Cutting" Session focused on a different school site in the district. One final Strategic "Cutting" Session will be held on January 23rd with a focus on Coronado Middle School. Check the CUSD News Blog for a brief statement and images from each session.
