WASC Accreditation Bestowed upon Coronado High for Maximum 6 YearsPosted by: Jennifer Landry 2 years, 4 months ago
CHS Tops the County Graduation Rate
The Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS WASC) has announced Coronado High School meets the ACS WASC criteria for accreditation. This accreditation status is based on all of the information provided by the school, including the self-study report, and the satisfactory completion of the on-site accreditation visit. The Commission has granted the school a Six-Year Accreditation Status.
This news comes on the heels of some additional great news! The California Cohort Graduation Rate has been released for 13-14 and CHS came out on top of the county with a 99.3%! This is several tenths higher than in previous years. The data in the chart combines Palm Academy with CHS to form a district 98.3% rate, which is still the highest in the county by far. Congratulations to Principal Jenny Moore and her team for this accomplishment!Share on Twitter Share on Facebook
