Blanket Drive for San Diego Homeless!

“My name is Avery Dozier and I am a senior here at Coronado High School. It’s that time of year again, filled with holidays, traditions, and the art of giving. This year is my ninth annual blanket drive for the homeless of San Diego. I am collecting donations of new or gently used blankets, socks, jackets, or anything that can be used to keep someone warm on cold winter nights. All donations are so greatly appreciated and even the smallest contribution can have a huge impact on someone else. I am hoping that this year, with your help, we can bring warmth and hope to hundreds of people this holiday season. Donations can be dropped off in the CHS front office or at my house (732 G Avenue) until Jan. 31, or I can pick them up (just message me at 619-204-3653). I will be delivering the first round of blankets on Christmas Day, so clean out your closets and donate to a good cause!”
