CHS Students at the ILC HOSA
Conference and Competition
CONGRATULATIONS to the Coronado High School (CHS) students that represented Coronado Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA) at the HOSA 40th Annual International Leadership Conference (ILC) in Orlando, FL June 20-25, 2017. HOSA is an international student organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and Health Science Education (HSE) that promotes career opportunities in the health care industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people.
Maddie Cheever, 2016-17 President, who received a Silver Medal at the Cal-HOSA state leadership conference, demonstrated her leadership and guided her members to achieve success this year! Katie Larratt received the Barbara James Service Recognition Award for her countless hours of volunteering at UCSD Hospital. Teresa Perez received FIRST PLACE at the INTERNATIONAL HOSA conference in the Healthy Lifestyle competition. She completed a written exam and presented her healthy lifestyle goals to a panel of judges.
