Talented CoSA students take top honors at Chula Vista Film Festival

Congratulations to young Filmmakers Lacey Bauer and Melanie Tulagan who were awarded first and second place respectively at the Chula Vista Film festival last month. See details below:



First Place —

“The Princess and the P.D.” (6:17 min) 

by Lacey Brauer,18  (Coronado, CA)

Hans Christian Andersen's classic fairy tale gets a modern twist when the Princess joins the local police force. Created by a student at Coronado School of the Arts (CoSA). 

Second Place —

“Ugly” (2:23 minutes) 

by Melanie Tulagan, 17  (Coronado, CA)

A new take on the Ugly Duckling story. A hairless guinea pig goes on a journey of self-discovery and self-love. Created by a student at Coronado School of the Arts (CoSA).
