AP® Classes and Testing

The Advanced Placement (AP®) Program gives students the opportunity to take college-level courses, and possibly receive college credit, while they are still in high school.

At CHS AP courses are open to any students who meet the appropriate prerequisite courses and who also have support from the department.
Every May CHS hosts the College Board AP Exam that students may choose to register and pay for. For every exam that a student passes, they may receive college credit that can be applied to a wide range of colleges and universities.

All students are required to sign an AP Contract.  Students and Parents will be emailed a link to the Student /Parent AP Contract and will complete a digital form to sign and acknowledge they have received and read the contract.  All information pertaining to AP® testing and registration is contained in this document. A PDF link to the current contract is linked below.

Registration for AP® testing is a TWO-STEP Process:

  1. Students must join their AP® Classroom to register for that exam
