Coronado Unified School District is committed to graduating students who have explored careers and learned skills they can apply towards college and beyond. We achieve this goal by offering Pathways for College and Career. Pathways are a sequence of courses within an area of interest that lead to further study in college and to high skilled, high paying careers.
All pathway courses at CHS are rigorous academic courses that are A-G approved. In addition Pathways courses have work-based learning opportunities that include connecting with local industry leaders through job talks, mentoring, job shadowing, and professional internships. Many of our programs offer industry certifications and college credit. CHS offers a minimum of two terms of courses in each pathway with the option of continuing learning through concurrent enrollment at a local college.
